Our Story

Taiwo (Tee) Ogunyemi is the Founder and Managing Director of Regent Consulting (Bermuda) Ltd. and Regent Inspire Studios, bringing more than 30 years of senior-level experience across banking, financial services, lending, business management and entrepreneurship in the United Kingdom and Bermuda.

Tee's banking career includes extensive leadership experience with Butterfield Bank, where he served as Vice President – Operations and Head of Treasury Operations. In this role, he led a team of more than 40 specialist administrators and officers responsible for the efficient delivery of key banking functions, including foreign exchange settlements, cash management, international money transfers and other treasury and back-office operations. He was subsequently seconded by the Bank's executive management to its Corporate Banking Group, where he managed and developed a corporate lending portfolio valued at approximately $70–$100 million, serving a portfolio of high-value corporate clients.

As Head of Business Banking, Tee played a significant role in strengthening the Bank's presence within Bermuda's small and medium-sized business sector. His responsibilities included developing profitable client relationships, supporting entrepreneurs and business owners, assessing financing requirements and helping businesses navigate opportunities for growth.

This combination of corporate banking, operations, lending and business development experience now informs his work through Regent Consulting, where he provides practical business consulting, management advisory and training services to businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations. Tee has also been a Certified StreetWise MBA Instructor for more than 10 years, facilitating practical business training for CEOs, entrepreneurs and business owners with a particular emphasis on strategic growth, financial understanding, leadership and business development.

Beyond consulting, Tee leads Regent Inspire Studios, Regent's independent film and media production business, focused on developing original films and inspirational content that entertains, encourages and connects with audiences. He holds a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University, and is a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD).

His approach to leadership and consulting is grounded in a simple philosophy: combining experience, practical thinking and sound business judgment to help organizations and entrepreneurs turn ideas and opportunities into meaningful results.
